Edwards travels and inspirations from other photographers opened new ways of creating images and colour into his work. Branching out further a field his work led him to war time photography first and second world wars capturing images that are well documented.

Edwards’s work was ahead of  time Bringing Style and Fashion though his images. And for history women were documented in to sport for the first image of a lady in sports wear. captured by Edward
This image explains how women from as early as 1920s took to sports changing rolls Women were portrayed as stereotypes, such as stay at home to care for family now women were to change every thing in history taking over the rolls of men.

Magazines changed everything around the times of the early 1920s women were getting out more and more active, even rights to vote, and Dance, and to drink Alcohol and drive cars. This was the most influential times, drinking and socializing more of a sexual appeal to women. Looking at this image was ahead of its time the style the colour that as been used and the lighting. His work was mainly  camera and painting images. I understand there
was a great deal light was used in this image, light and shadow. Charles Chaplin in this image captures not just his beauty but his smile, the style and reflection that were used using sepia creating His  refection .

Edwards use of oil paints, I admire the reflection of nighttime paintings the reflections of the trees on the pond, then there is the moon appearing in the distance of the forest. It’s quoted that this oil painting was the highest selling image. In the US for 2.9 Million
